Founder
Hi, I’m Ticola — and for over a decade, I’ve devoted my work to guiding women back to themselves.
I support women who feel disconnected from their power, their clarity, and their sense of direction — not because anything is missing, but because too much noise has pulled them away from their inner knowing. I understand the relentless cycle of overworking, the pressure to be everything for everyone, and the quiet exhaustion that comes from trying to live up to impossible expectations of womanhood.
I know what it’s like to undervalue yourself — your time, your voice, your contributions — in the hope of belonging, approval, or validation from places that were never meant to define you. I’ve lived that experience, and I’ve watched countless women do the same.
That’s why I don’t motivate women to become more.
I guide them to remember who they already are.
My work is about removing the barriers that disconnect women from their inner compass — so they can reclaim their power, trust themselves again, and live in alignment with who they were designed to be.

For many women, there is a quiet, isolating space beneath the surface of daily life — a space where profound questions begin to surface:

Where do I belong?
What makes me different?
What is my purpose?
Who am I meant to serve?
Where is my tribe?

These are not small questions. And navigating them alone can feel overwhelming.
Without a clear sense of direction — or trust in their own inner guidance — many women become disconnected from themselves. I’ve witnessed women do everything “right” on the outside: achieve the milestones, collect the credentials, hold it all together. And still feel unfulfilled, unseen, and quietly restless.
Not because they’ve failed — but because they are living misaligned.

When a woman loses connection to her inner compass, fear, self-doubt, and isolation begin to take the lead. She senses a deeper calling, a bigger life waiting to be lived — yet doesn’t know how to access it or where to begin.
This is the space True North Life Design was created for — the moment when a woman realizes there is more, and feels ready to find her way back to herself.
This is where I come in. My work isn’t about motivation or pushing you to meet a generic standard or ideal. It’s about guiding you back to your own inner knowing — the place where clarity, creativity, and purpose already live.
As a women’s empowerment coach and navigator, I help you reconnect to your True Self — your internal compass — the wellspring of wisdom and direction within you. I believe every woman carries this inner guidance system, and when she learns to trust it, her life begins to align naturally with who she is and what she’s here to do.
This reconnection is the gateway to authentic power, freedom, and the full expression of your unique purpose. It’s where self-doubt loosens its grip, fear loses its authority, and clarity takes the lead.
My greatest joy is witnessing women step beyond limitation and isolation into an expanded sense of possibility — moving from uncertainty to self-trust, from confusion to direction, from shrinking to fully expressed.
I want to see you know who you are, feel where you belong, and live from the truth of what makes you uniquely designed.

Kesensa Johnson
Social Media Manager
All my life I knew I wanted to help people and make as much of a meaningful impact as I could. Initially, I wanted to achieve that by becoming an elementary school teacher. As important and amazing it is to teach young kids, I realized that it wasn't what I was looking for. Since then I’ve been on a journey to find creative ways I can make change in my community all while learning and having fun doing it.
During the time I spent in undergrad at Univeristy of Maryland to obtain my Bachelors of Science Business Management, I specialized in Entrepreneurship and earned my citation in the Public Leadership Scholars program at my university. That program gave me the opportunity to learn more about the various ways I could help my community. I could start my own businesses, a non-profit, organize service trips and even participate in various social justice projects. So I decided to engage in experiences like that until I found my niche. I was able to gain many memorable experiences, meet amazing people, and even learn about how to be more authentically myself and dive deeper into my passions. I realized that my niche was to help other women do the same. Now as a True North Life Designer, my goal is to help women within my age group to manage and figure out life. Learn how to find themselves, discover their beauty and passions and most importantly, I want to help turn those big dreams that we all had as young girls into our realities!

True North is about intentionally designing a life you love! As I navigated the transition into adulthood, I faced and overcame countless challenges – lessons learned and strength gained with the incredible support of my mother, Ticola. These experiences have empowered me to consciously shape my health, my five-year relationship, my growing friendships, my career, and my finances.
Now, I take everything I've learned, and continue to learn, applying that knowledge to design and conquer each day. Observing the struggles many young women face in cultivating wellness, balance, and success on their own, I feel a deep sense of compassion. I understand those challenges firsthand.
While the journey isn't always easy, the teachings, techniques, and resources of True North Life Design have been my guiding light. Now, I'm passionate about sharing these tools to empower other young women. Let's design our lives together, building a community of conscious and caring individuals eager to step into our collective power and potential, alongside my dedicated team.
