2. TERMS OF SERVICE

2.1 Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the website truenorthlifedesign.com or purchasing any services, courses, or products offered by True North Life Design ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you ("Client" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2.2 Description of Services
True North Life Design offers the following services:
- One-on-one life coaching sessions
- Group coaching programs including the True North Life Design (TNLD) Program
- The True North Sisterhood Society Women's Circle
- Online courses hosted on Thinkific
- Digital products, guides, and educational resources
- Live and virtual events and workshops

2.3 Coaching Relationship
You understand and agree that:
Coaching is not therapy. Life coaching is a professional relationship focused on personal growth, goal achievement, and life design. It is not a substitute for psychotherapy, counseling, mental health treatment, or medical advice.
Results are not guaranteed. Coaching outcomes depend on your commitment, effort, and personal circumstances. True North Life Design does not guarantee specific results or outcomes from coaching services.
You are responsible for your decisions. All decisions made during or after coaching sessions are your own responsibility. The coach provides guidance and support but does not make decisions on your behalf.
Confidentiality is mutual. Information shared in coaching sessions is held in strict confidence except where disclosure is required by law or where there is risk of harm to yourself or others.

2.4 Payment Terms
All fees for services, courses, and products are due as specified at the time of purchase. We accept payment via Stripe and PayPal. All prices are listed in US dollars.
For payment plans, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method according to the agreed schedule. Missed payments may result in suspension of access to services or courses until the balance is resolved.

2.5 Cancellation and Rescheduling
Coaching Sessions: You may cancel or reschedule a coaching session up to 24 hours before the scheduled time without penalty. Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment or no-shows may result in forfeiture of that session without refund.
Programs and Courses: Please refer to our Refund Policy for program and course cancellation terms.

2.6 Intellectual Property
All content created and provided by True North Life Design including but not limited to course materials, workbooks, guides, videos, audio recordings, graphics, and written content is the intellectual property of True North Life Design and Ticola Spruill. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works, or sell any of our content without prior written permission.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use purchased content for your personal use only.

2.7 Code of Conduct
By participating in our community, courses, or programs, you agree to:
- Treat all coaches, staff, and fellow participants with respect and dignity
- Maintain confidentiality of what other participants share in group settings
- Not engage in harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior of any kind
- Not share, reproduce, or distribute course or program materials
We reserve the right to remove any participant from our community or programs without refund if these standards are violated.

2.8 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, True North Life Design and Ticola Spruill shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services, website, or content. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

2.9 Disclaimer of Warranties
Our services and content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

2.10 Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Maryland.

2.11 Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
